Why Measure E is so important
Without Measure E, our schools lose $24 million annually – 20% of the overall budget – and will be forced to make devastating budget cuts.
Right now, our schools rely on two local taxes for school funding. But these taxes are about to expire. Measure E consolidates and renews these taxes, for a period of nine years. without raising taxes by a single penny.
We need Measure E to renew critical expiring funding to keep our excellent teachers and educators in local schools, sustain strong academic programs, and prepare students for the future – all without raising your taxes!
